Joe Drumgoole is Partner Services Technical Director at MongoDB, the company behind the market leading MongoDB database. At MongoDB he helps make EMEA based partners successful.
His most recent job was VP Product Management at FeedHenry an Irish startup focussed on the Mobile Application Platform sector.
He is a software entrepreneur with over 25 years experience of successful product delivery at Digital Equipment Corporation, Nomura, Oracle Corporation, CR2 and Cape Clear Software.
He has founded and exited two software companies in the past ten years, LeCayla Technologies and PutPlace.com. LeCayla Technologies was co-founded with Conor Halpin in 2002 and sold to OpSource in 2008. In 2006 Joe was the sole founder of PutPlace.com, an online backup solution designed for consumers. PutPlace was one of the first companies in the world to adopt the Amazon AWS service as its cloud computing platform. Joe sold PutPlace in 2009.
Joe is a regular speaker at technical conferences and has provided mentoring and advice to many Irish Startups over the past ten years.
